	I am a software engineer .I was placed in satyam(on-campus) on Oct 2007.I passed my engg in june2008.I haven't received my joining yet.What are the job opportunities that I can try for in the govt sector? The government organizations both in the software and in other sectors (which also require software professionals) would recruit through a nationwide or statewide recruitment notification. You would have to keep track of those and apply. Expect to appear for the written test and interview. The written test could be a test of general abilities and a test of professional knowledge. Sometimes, the interview takes the form of the test of professional knowledge. But keep in mind that these processes could be involved.
